Flea usually commands attention when he wields his bass for The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

But the 57-year-old musician was more than happy to be on the sidelines, as he and wife Melody Ehsani watched the Lakers take on the Boston Celtics at Staples Center on Sunday night.

The couple, who wed just last year, kept it comfy for their courtside bonding session in dueling sweatsuits.

Flea suited up in purple and gold for the big game, as he donned Lakers logo sweatpants and a vintage Magic Johnson pullover.

He rounded out his look with a pair of purple sneakers and a silver chain resting around his neck.

Wife Melody slipped into a pair of nude toned drawstring pants and matching windbreaker.

Underneath her monochromatic set, the fashion designer layered up with a burgundy sweater.

She completed her ‘athleisure’ look with yellow-tinted shades, various dainty chains, and a pair of fashion kicks.

Most notably, Flea and Melody attended the Laker game at Staples Center following the death of basketball legend Kobe Bryant.

The husband and wife duo donned head-to-toe Kobe themed clothing for the somber event, where the Lakers were expected to take on the Portland Trail Blazers.

Their sweatpants read, “Kobe and Gigi Forever,’ while their sweatshirts featured graffiti style portraits of the deceased pair.

Before the start of the game, the arena honored Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, who lost their lives in a devastating helicopter crash that killed a total of nine people.
