No Time To Die’s Daniel Craig and Lashana Lynch look stoic as they watch action-packed clip with director Cary Fukunaga in behind-the-scenes snap from James Bond film

Daniel Craig is set to bid a final farewell to James Bond in the hotly-anticipated No Time To Die.

And ahead of the film’s release the official 007 account shared a behind-the-scenes snap via Instagram on Friday, showing the actor, 51, with his co-star Lashana Lynch and director Cary Fukunaga during a break from filming.

The trio could be seen watching a playback of a scene Daniel and the actress, 32, had just shot, and they looked serious as the True Detective director pointed at the screen he was holding in his hands.

Daniel had transformed into the iconic spy for the scene, wearing a dark blue shirt that had black padding around his shoulders and elbows for protection.

He also wore a pair of black trousers that was geared with several gun holsters for the action-packed scenes ahead, while he also had a prop rifle hanging from a cross-body strap.

Lashana was kitted out in a similar ensemble, as she appeared to be ready to fight while getting into character as fellow 00 agent Nomi.

The post comes after Daniel revealed he wasn’t allowed to drive the Aston Martin DB5 the whole time he shot his final film as 007.

The actor told Top Gear Magazine on Thursday that he couldn’t drive and act at the same time as it was seen to be too dangerous, so his stunt driver Mark Higgins would take his place while filming high speed chase scenes.

Of why this was the case, Daniel explained: ‘You know we fake it, don’t you? We’re not allowed to do that any more, although I do go driving. I was allowed to donut the DB5 in Matera, which was great.’

Higgins spoke with Esquire about getting behind the wheel for Daniel’s final Bond film, and revealed that everything ‘done is for real.’

‘I think a lot of these films are going away from CGI and trying to make it as real as possible,’ Higgins explained. ‘The environment we were driving in was very, very restricted and very, very tight. So it’s a difficult place to work in.’

He went on to add that while Daniel ‘enjoys driving when he can’, he was also happy to take a step back and let the professionals do the work.

‘He’s a fantastic actor so thankfully he lets me do the driving and I let him do the acting so we’ve got a bit of a deal,’ Higgins joked.
