‘I don’t like how I look’: Post Malone reveals he gets face tattoos to deal with ‘insecurity’ about his appearance

Post Malone opens up about his famed face tattoos, saying that he’s gotten the ink to boost his confidence about his appearance.

‘I’m a ugly-ass motherf***er,’ the 24-year-old rapper said in a new chat with GQ, adding that amassing the tattoos in recent years ‘does maybe come from a place of insecurity, to where I don’t like how I look.

‘I’m going to put something cool on there so I can look at myself and say, “You look cool, kid,” and have a modicum of self-confidence, when it comes to my appearance.’

Malone added: ‘I don’t think my songs are s***y. I worked real hard on them. But I think that’s a way for me to say, ‘Not everybody’s going to like your s***, and there’s a lot of people who don’t like your s***, and it’s okay.’
