Harrison Ford adjusts his face mask to drink a cup of coffee at Hawthorne Airport… where he had a runway mishap last month

Harrison Ford made a small adjustment to his face mask so he could enjoy a cup of coffee on Monday afternoon.

The 77-year-old actor was spotted at Hawthorne Airport on Monday, where he had a black face mask over his nose, but pulled up over his mouth so he could drink coffee.

The Indiana Jones star was involved in a minor miscommunication at the same airport last month, when he crossed a runway after being instructed not to.

The Star Wars icon was out wearing a dark blue shirt under a green jacket as he walked around outside the airport holding a cup of coffee.

He also wore dark blue jeans and black boots with a silver watch seen peeking from under the sleeve of his coat.

The actor was seen putting his mask on properly after finishing his coffee while taking a stroll around the facility.

Ford was at Hawthorne Airport last month when he had a slight miscommunication with the tower about crossing a runway.

The actor had landed his plane at the airport and he was taxiing to the other end of the runway, when he was asked to ‘hold short’ on crossing the runway, according to audio obtained by TMZ.

Ford misheard the tower and proceeded to cross the runway, though the operator was upset and said that he told him to hold and, ‘you need to pay attention.’

Ford was told to hold from crossing the runway because there was another plane practicing ‘touch and go landings’ on that runway.

The actor’s plane was in no danger of crashing, though, with the other plane reportedly 3,600 feet from Ford’s plane.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said they were investigating the incident while Ford’s rep issued a statement that he ‘misheard’ the aircraft traffic controller (ATC) and then, ‘immediately acknowledged the mistake and apologized to ATC for the error.’
