Leonardo DiCaprio covers up and is unrecognizable during lunch date with girlfriend Camila Morrone

Leonardo DiCaprio is virtually unrecognizable as he covers up under hoodie, mask and baseball cap during lunch date with girlfriend Camila Morrone in Malibu

They have been an item for more than two-and-a-half years.

And on Monday Leonardo DicCaprio and girlfriend Camila Morrone looked nearly unrecognizable during their lunch date at the celebrity hot spot restaurant, Nobu, in scenic Malibu.

Seemingly shunning public attention and taking COVID-19 safety precautions serious, DiCaprio‘s face was nearly invisible when he donned a protective mask, baseball cap and hoodie when he arrived and left the Japanese eatery.

The Academy Award-winning actor’s effort to cover up didn’t end there.

Dressed in light black shorts, army-green hoodie and sneakers, the 45-year-old Los Angeles native kept his head titled down as to not draw attention to himself as much as possible.

His ladylove, 23, didn’t go to the same extreme, as she covered her nose and mouth with a black mask, while wearing her dark brown tresses long, with some slight waves and a center part.

She opted for casual-cool in the fashion department in black frayed denim jeans, a t-shirt under an army-green bomber’s jacket and red hot-top sneakers.

At one point during his stroll outside the restaurant, DiCaprio was forced to lift his head and address the valet workers. It was at this point that he showcased his black mask and white stars mask a bit more clearer.

Eventually valet retrieved their car and the couple were on their way.

The pair reportedly started dating in the latter part of 2017 after meeting at an event in South Beach, Florida.

It wasn’t until the 2020 Oscars that they made their public debut in front of the sea of photographers.

Considered by many as an all-time great leading man, DiCaprio has been among the top A-listers since his performance in the mega-blockbuster film Titanic in 1997.

His accomplishments in cinema also include seven Oscar nominations, and one Best Actor win for The Revenant.

Morrone has been making a name for herself in Hollywood with roles in films Mickey And The Bear, Death Wish and Never Goin’ Back. She set to star in the remake of the romantic comedy, Valley Girl.
