Jessika Power shares a cryptic post about ‘new beginnings’ after splitting from her boyfriend

She recently split from her boyfriend James Brown, 35, after four months together.

And on Wednesday, Married At First Sight star Jessika Power shared a cryptic post to Instagram stories about ‘new beginnings’.

The blonde beauty shared a quote which read: ‘Not every new beginning is meant to last forever. And not every person who walks into your life is meant to stay.’

Jessika’s post comes after she joked she’s ‘become one of those people who shares inspirational quotes’ following her break-up from James. 

On Tuesday, she humoured her fans as she realised she was relying on inspirational quotes to get her through her heartbreak.

She initially uploaded a quote, which read: ‘Try not to resist the changes that come your way. Instead let life live through you. And do not worry that your life is turning upside down.

‘How do you know that the side you are sued to is better than the one to come.’

In another post uploaded to her stories, she added: ‘I’ve now become one of those people that share inspirational quotes on my Instagram until my heart stops hurting. Deal with it guys!’

Jessika confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that she and landscaper James had split after fans noticed the couple had unfollowed each other on social media on Friday. 

‘We were having some problems and they got worse when I left the Gold Coast to go visit my family in Perth,’ she explained. 

‘Unfortunately, we were unable to sort through them and he’s decided to move on,’ she added.

The former couple went public with their relationship in early March, but they started dating in February. 

On Monday, the reality television star revealed that the breakup has left her feeling ‘destroyed’ and ‘broken’. 

Posting to her Instagram Story Jessika wrote a lengthy piece revealing that she is struggling from ‘depression‘ and needs ‘self care’.

‘It’s common knowledge now that I have been through a breakup,’ she wrote. 

‘But the last few days have left me destroyed and broken and I’m struggling to help pull myself out of depression to help myself mend and feel better.

‘I think I need some self care to try and relax, keep my mind busy and to feel a little bit more like myself again.’

Jessika was partnered with Gympie-based farmer Mick Gould on last year’s season of Married At First Sight.

She had an affair with Dan Webb, who was paired to Tamara Joy, and the pair were controversially allowed to re-enter the experiment as a new couple.

Dan and Jessika called it quits on their relationship in April 2019.
