Skye Wheatley is mortified after her son Forest, one, SPAT on expensive objects in a luxury store

Skye Wheatley’s one-year-old son, Forest, is growing up to be much naughtier than she expected.

The former Big Brother star, 26, shared her parenting woes on Instagram on Tuesday, revealing to fans that she’d been left mortified by Forest’s behaviour during a trip to the shops earlier that day.

‘Oh my God, like, toddlers are just on a whole other level. Like, I took Forest to the shops today and he was just running!’ said Skye, who shares her son with boyfriend Lachlan Waugh.

‘Like, I was literally just chasing after him the whole time,’ she continued, adding: ‘They’re just so full of energy and at the end of the day I’m just so exhausted.’

The Gold Coast Instagram influencer went on to complain about a particularly embarrassing incident that had happened during the ill-fated shopping expedition.

‘I took him into this shop today… it was like big, expensive objects in this shop. And he’s like, sitting there like, spitting, on the chairs. I’m just like, ‘Oh my God! Wait, what’s happening right now?”

It comes after Skye shocked fans by uploading glamorous photos of herself posing with Forest in her local supermarket at the height of the coronavirus pandemic in late March.

Amid COVID-19 panic buying, the blonde felt the backdrop would be perfect for a shoot to promote her latest Instagram giveaway.

Skye explained in her caption: ‘I wanted to take some photos in the empty toilet paper isle (sic) so I can show Forest when he’s older how far the world has come.

The former reality star then went on to announce a competition for a $10,000 cash giveaway, which she’s promoting, ‘in light of such a sad time our beautiful universe is facing’.⁣

The arresting photos were not a hit with all of the influencer’s fans, with some lashing out at Skye, claiming the shoot was distasteful.

One person commented underneath the photographs: ‘Everything about this post is sick.’

Someone else viewing the set of photos added: ‘This is actually appalling on many levels.’

Another seemed worried about her young son, writing: ‘So you take a baby out when there’s a virus going around that’s potentially harmful to him?’

Skye responded to that fan directly, defending herself: ‘I’ve never touched the shelves while picking up toilet paper babe? I went to the shops this morning to get toilet paper? Sorry for needing something to wipe with?

‘I’ll opt for the leaves from my backyard next time so I don’t offend anymore online. Like everybody else in the shopping centre I had no mask on, I apologise for my mistake really I do. I don’t have access to any masks as they are sold out everywhere.’
