Celebrity Gogglebox fans couldn’t hide their disbelief on Friday after Rylan Clark-Neal’s mum Linda revealed his real name.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their shock after Linda revealed Rylan’s actual name is Ross, as they debated whether to indulge in an iced bun before settling down to watch television.
Rylan, 31, had previously revealed he changed his name when he began modelling as a teenager, but his family still call him by his birth name.

During the show’s opening scene, Rylan was debating whether to enjoy an iced bun while watching TV with Linda.
He cheekily remarked: ‘I bet you’ll have one,’ leading his mum to insist: ‘No I won’t. Ross will you stop it, I don’t want one.’
Clearly enjoying the cake Rylan then said: ‘Mum, they are nice though,’ with Linda adding: ‘You eat it then, I’ll take a couple home with me.’

Rylan had previously revealed his name was actually Ross Richard Clark, and he changed it when he was working as a teen model.
The star admitted that his husband Dan Neal and his family still call him Ross, telling The Sun: ‘I leave Rylan at my front door and then I’m Ross at home, that’s what [my husband Dan] and my family call me.
‘Then the second I walk out of that front door, I’m Rylan because everyone can see.’
