The Love Island star, made the decision at the start of lockdown to isolate himself from the actress, 24, and his family as he battled coronavirus on the frontline.
Dr Alex appeared delighted to be back in the company of Amelia, with the couple pictured on a sunny stroll through Knightsbridge.

Amelia, meanwhile, looked stylish as she showed off her tanned legs in lycra cycling shorts.
She complemented her laid-back look with a cream zip-up jumper and Burberry handbag.

On Tuesday, Dr Alex admitted he ‘couldn’t wait’ to see his stunning girlfriend again, as they have been forced to spend weeks apart while he works on the NHS frontline.
The television personality took to Instagram to share a loved-up throwback snap as he awaited their reunion.
He wrote: ‘Can’t wait to go for dinner with this one ❤️
‘We have all waited so long to enjoy the simple things that make us happy in life.’

In April Amelia uploaded a picture of the couple on Instagram with the caption: ‘I’ve been eating an apple a day and I haven’t seen the doctor in over 5 weeks.
‘It seems to be working.’
Amelia then took to her Instagram Story to post a picture of two glasses filled with red wine.
Last month, the Welshman admitted he’s struggling living apart from Amelia.
Alex confessed he’s ‘tired’ following his ‘busy shift’, and just ‘wants to go home and chat’ to the dancer, who he credited for helping him ‘relax’.

Leaving the south London hospital in the early hours, he shared: ‘My shift is now finished and I am just heading home.
‘It’s been again a busy shift – I know I keep saying this but it is the truth. I am feeling alright, I am tired.
‘One of the challenges is that I am away from my girlfriend, I made the decision that I didn’t want to risk giving it to her or her family.

‘So I am up in London staying on my own – isolating, and she is staying elsewhere so I don’t give it to her.
He also praised the ambulance service, revealing: ‘I spoke to John, a paramedic.
‘In business as usual times they see traumatic things, we need to support their mental health too.’
