Schroeder and Doute got the axe from the show for making past racist remarks and racially profiling former African American co-star Faith Stowers, who accused the pair of reporting her to police in 2018, claiming she was a suspect in one of their investigations.
Schroeder also made offensive comments in a 2017 episode of her Straight Up With Stassi podcast where she talked about black people and how they ask for special treatment in Hollywood.
In an Instagram post June 7, the reality star apologized for making ‘racially insensitive comments’ in the past and that it’s important she ‘continue to take accountability for what I have said and done, while pushing myself to do better.’
She also maintained she has grown significantly from the person she was then, and that she’s ‘filled with remorse and regret for the hurt’ she caused, including to Stowers.
