Pixie Lott reveals she has been forced to indefinitely push back wedding to fiancé Oliver Cheshire

She’s been keeping her fans up to date on Instagram with her lockdown antics.

But Pixie Lott has revealed that lockdown’s restrictions have forced her to postpone her wedding to fiancé Oliver Cheshire.

The All About Tonight singer, 29, spoke to Lorraine Kelly on Friday morning’s episode of Good Morning Britain, where she revealed the couple were hoping to tie the knot this September.

Change of plans: Pixie Lott has revealed that lockdown’s restrictions have forced her to postpone her wedding to fiancé Oliver Cheshire even further

She had originally planned to marry model Oliver, who she got engaged to in 2016, in the autumn, but wants to wait until the pair can have all of their family at the wedding.

She said: ‘It’s so tough to make any plans for anyone at the moment, this year was finally the year when we had planned to make it all happen in September, but obviously because of the situation we can’t really book anything yet.

‘We’ve got quite a big family and it’s all restricted at the moment, so I have to wait until the rules relax a bit.’ Under current rules, weddings and civil partnerships can only host 30 guests with social distancing observed.

Pixie also revealed she was the first customer in her hair salon and was desperate for a post-lockdown change.

She told Lorraine, 60: ‘Luckily I got in there as soon as I opened, I couldn’t wait because my roots are really bad, and I’ve always wanted to go darker.

‘I did that on Saturday, it’s called the undone blonde, I just bored of it in lockdown so I thought I’d do something post-lockdown a little bit different.’

The pop star also opened up about how her clumsy habits have landed her in hospital twice throughout lockdown.

She said: ‘I am a really clumsy person but I haven’t really had to go to A&E much at all, but I had to go twice during lockdown.

‘The first one, I’m not a very good cook and I thought I’d brave it and microwave some soup, I didn’t realise how piping hot it can get. It got really infected.’

Pixie, who has been a coach on The Voice Kids since its inception in 2017, said that filming the show is an ’emotional rollercoaster’.

She told Lorraine: ‘There’s no way you can’t watch it and just be smiling from ear to ear and then crying and then laughing, it’s an emotional roller coaster but such a feel-good warm show.

‘We just want all of the kids to do well, the best thing is for them to learn and grow and have the best experience possible.

‘It is an experience that stays with you for life. It takes me right back to when I was that age.

‘The thing about kids performing at that age is they’re just doing it for the pure love of singing and when you get older you can lose that.’

Aside from her hospital visits, the star has been keeping busy with her model fiancé during lockdown in their London home, sharing snaps of their home cooking, family Zoom quizzes and sunbathing sessions in their garden.

Pixie revealed to MailOnline last October that she had big plans for 2020, including trying to squeeze in six hen dos before her wedding.

Revealing how she first asked her pals and family to be apart of her big day, the singer said: ‘We did a whole shebang and I made little parcels, which is how they all found out, but we’ve done one hen do so far but I did say we were going to have six, so I need to try and fit that in before the wedding.’

Pixie’s ‘lovely’ entourage of 18 will include her best friends from school, cousins and family friends, who she said she is desperate to find the perfect dress for.

Detailing her stress over finding the right gown, she said: ‘I just want to make sure I get a dress that they’re all happy with because they’re all different shapes and sizes and I want them to all wear the same thing – apart from the little flower girls.’
