MAFS star Connie Crayden looks unrecognisable as she debuts her sexy new look

Former Married At First Sight star Connie Crayden looks unrecognisable as she debuts new peroxide blonde highlights… a year after appearing as a ‘shy wallflower’ on the show

She was portrayed as a self-conscious wallflower during last season’s Married At First Sight.

But Connie Crayden certainly seems to have bloomed into a confident glamazon a year on, as on Friday she debuted her jaw-dropping new look on Instagram.

The 29-year-old looked barely recognisable as she shared a sultry photo of her beautiful visage, while debuting her new peroxide blonde highlights throughout her flattering choppy bob.

Connie completed her sassy new look with a subtle make-up base, yet emphasised her striking features with dramatic winged eyeliner and a pretty peach lip gloss.

‘You know some magic is about to happen when the blonde wizard Jorge gets his hands on me,’ she said, referencing her new locks.

During her season of the show, Connie broke viewers’ hearts as she burst into tears over fears she ‘wouldn’t make a beautiful bride’ in her wedding to Jonethen Musulin.

While she looked incredible on the day, it still wasn’t meant to be for the duo – who ended their romance at their final vows.

Last year, Connie warned potential Married At First Sight applicants that if they make it onto the show, they will be edited into a ‘character’.

‘It’s not just heroes and villains. You are characters on a TV show. You play a character on a TV show. That I cannot stress enough,’ Connie said on Instagram.

‘You’re a real person but you are still a character. With some creative editing they can make you look however they want.

‘Just because you’re not a villain doesn’t mean you can’t be portrayed in a negative way,’ she added.

An upcoming Married At First Sight reunion special, which won’t feature Connie, will air at the end of the month.
