Romee shared the black and white image on Instagram Stories as part of the True or False Instagram challenge, after a fan asked whether she’d share a picture of her post-partum body.

The former Victoria’s Secret star posted the snap alongside a caption explaining she’s in no rush to slim down since giving birth.

She wrote: ‘Many of you asked about my weight gain and if I’m back in my old shape. I’m not, and I’m proud of my body… more than I’ve ever been to be honest!

‘I look forward to going back to the gym because that has always been something that gives me lots of energy but I’m not planning to focus too much on weight loss since I’m breastfeeding.’

Covering Vogue Netherlands‘ Motherhood Issue, the Dutch supermodel spoke candidly about her journey, revealing she hopes her battle will inspire other women struggling to conceive.

Romee said that complications from her PCOS, and a strict lifestyle, also meant the Victoria’s Secret model didn’t have a period for seven years.

Polycystic ovary syndrome is a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges. Symptoms include menstrual irregularity, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity.
