‘I’m quite happy with my usual way of doing things. But life is never dull.’

Carol previously shut down the idea of trying out a dating app, telling Closer in 2018: ‘Can you imagine if I was on Tinder? My God’

And speaking about growing more confident with age, Carol said: ‘Young women beat themselves up about being perfect and there is no such thing.

‘They compare themselves. And you get to an age where you go “just enjoy it, smile and enjoy it”.

Carol has often spoken about her love life, saying in January that she feels ‘positively sick’ at the thought of being in another relationship.

The star, whose former flames include pilot Graham Duff, who she split from in 2016, and PR consultant  Des Kelly, who she parted from in 2007, said she’s ‘VERY happy as a badly behaved singleton’
