The Olympic gold medallist, 32, took to Instagram on Thursday night to announce the news as she shared a sweet black-and-white photo of her newborn’s hand.
Sam sweetly added a red heart emoji alongside the snap and revealed that her daughter was born earlier this week on Tuesday. She penned: ‘02.03.2021.’
The former England hockey player’s 169K followers were quick to share their congratulations with Sam and her husband Tom.
