Cruella follows the character mission for revenge on her former boss Baroness von Hellman, played by Emma Thompson.

‘So what’s your story?’ a little boy asks at the start of the clip, as images of orphan Estella de Vil flicker between now and childhood.

As she works her way up from maid to mousy fashion assistant, the anti-hero crafts a plan to get back at the Baroness for all her years of abuse.

Then Cruella strikes out on her own, crafting a new identity with her punk-chic makeover.

Last year, Emma dished about the storyline, which takes place before Glenn Close’s portrayal in the 1996 version of 101 Dalmatians.
