Brooke Shields gets matching mother-daughter ladybug tattoos with 18-year-old daughter Rowan to celebrate her high school graduation
The family that gets inked together, stays together.
Brooke Shields, 55, and her daughter Rowan celebrated the 18-year-old’s high school graduation by getting matching mother-daughter tattoos.
The duo now sports identical ladybug tats on their hand and ankle, respectively, which the actress showed off in a gushing social media post.

‘A special graduation gift and memory with my girl,’ Brooked penned in an Instagram caption along with a ladybug emoji.
She went on: ‘I’m so proud of you, I love you more than words can say.’
The actress shared a snap of her hands alongside Rowans ankle, each of which were emblazoned with a new, petite ladybug tattoo.
Mom and daughter posed for a masked selfie together inside the tattoo parlor before their bond was permanently inked and flashed megawatt smiles outside afterwards.

The matching tattoos were inked a few days after Rowan graduated from high school where she performed a song on the guitar during the ceremony.

The Blue Lagoon actress shared a video of the performance along with a sweet image of Rowan dressed all in white on social media.

The mother daughter duo are closer than ever and recently Rowan shopped in her famous mom’s closet for her senior prom dress.

Shields’ daughter ended up choosing the star’s famous red Golden Globes gown from 1998.
That year the icon was nominated for best television actress in a musical or comedy series for her show Suddenly Susan. (Calista Flockhart won for her role in Ally McBeal).
‘I thought it was a special night when I was nominated for a Golden Globe and wore this dress in 1998, but nothing could have prepared me to see my daughter wearing it to her prom. Proud mama,’ Brooke said on Instagram.
Brooke shares Rowan and 15-year-old Grier with husband Chris Henchy who she wed in 2001. Previously she was married to tennis star Andre Agassi from 1997-1999.
