Hugh Jackman reveals his selfie game has improved as he shares disastrous self-portrait while holidaying in Japan

He’s arguably one of the most famous actors in the world.

But despite years in the spotlight, Hugh Jackman has revealed that up until four years ago his ability to take selfies was anything but perfect.

On Thursday, the 52-year-old star took to Instagram to reflect on how much his game has improved by sharing a disastrous photo taken in 2017.

Oh no! On Thursday, Hugh Jackman reflected on how much his selfie game has improved in four years by sharing a disastrous photo taken in 2017 to Instagram [pictured]

‘Seriously strong evidence that my selfie game has improved. By a lot,’ he wrote alongside a zoomed-in self-portrait.

‘Maybe 4 years ago, the last time I was in #Tokyo. One of my favorite cities.’

In the photo, the X-Men star is seen posing while all dressed up in a button up shirt, which he paired with a maroon coloured sweater.

He completed his look wearing a grey coloured blazer and a pair of oversized designer sunglasses.

It’s not known if Hugh purposely snapped the photo at the time, or took it by accident.

Earlier this week Hugh admitted that he was yet to master the microwave in his hotel room, despite being in hotel quarantine for 11 days.

Taking to Instagram to express his frustration on Tuesday, Hugh confessed that he still hadn’t figured out how to work the timer on the appliance.

A frustrated Hugh said was still having to heat his food in 30-second increments.

‘Alright, this is morning 11. This is my microwave and I still don’t know how to…’ he began in a video, which showed him reaching for the ‘start’ button on his microwave.

‘When I press “start”, I get 30 seconds, and so I just keep pressing it every time, because I don’t know how to put on more. Can someone please explain? Please?’

The seemingly high tech microwave didn’t feature the usual time buttons, with just ‘start’, ‘stop/clear’, ‘auto cook’, ‘power level’, and up and down buttons available.

‘I believe you should keep pressing start and it will keep adding 30 seconds each time. That’s how mine works at least,’ wrote one person.
