Australian Survivor’s Abbey Holmes reveals she was bizarrely eliminated from TWO seasons

Abbey Holmes was left in shock after the newly-formed Vakama tribe voted her out on Monday’s episode of Australian Survivor: All Stars.

However, Abbey has revealed that, on the same day she was evicted from All Stars, Australia was watching her elimination from Australian Survivor: Champions vs Contenders.

‘I’m the only player to have ever been voted out twice in the same day,’ the blonde told Pedestrian TV on Tuesday.

What are the odds? Australian Survivor’s Abbey Holmes, 29, has revealed she was bizarrely eliminated from TWO seasons of the show on the same day

Not long after she was eliminated from Survivor Champions Vs Contenders II, Abbey was offered the chance to compete on All Stars.

As a result, Champions Vs Contenders was still airing when she was filming All Stars.

Abbey also complained about the way she was edited on the show, telling Pedestrian that she appeared standoffish and favoured players that were physically strong over those who were popular and social.

After she was evicted from All Stars on Monday night, the Australian rules footballer told producers: ‘I have absolutely no bloody idea what just happened. A complete and utter blindside!’

‘I was so confident going into Tribal. You know, Shonee remains in the game. Good on her for managing to pull the votes and laying a nice blindside on myself.

‘There are some very, very strong players in this game. Obviously, they saw me as a threat and wanted to really nullify that threat early in the game,’ she added.

Abbey was made a target by Shonee Fairfax, 28, who returned from Exile Beach after being banished there with Zach Kozyrski.

After losing a challenge in the new tribe, Shonee made it her priority to ‘get revenge’ on Abbey.

‘She’s all about physical strength, but that doesn’t work for my game. Time to send her packing,’ she said.

Meanwhile, Abbey had her sights set on getting Shonee of the tribe.

‘[Shonee is] by far the weakest link in our tribe. She’s gotta go,’ she said, adding that she was counting on AK, Locky, Brooke, Lydia and Flick to vote out Shonee.

Shonee, on the other hand, played a ‘social game’ to influence the new tribe.

‘I need to make sure that all the old Vakamas know that Abbey was in charge of Mokuta. I need them to know how dangerous she is and that she is the one that holds everyone together.

‘If they get rid of Abbey, that’s how we weaken Mokuta,’ she added.

Before heading off to Tribal Council, Abbey said she was feeling confident about staying in the game and eliminating Shonee.

‘She’s a cat with nine lives. She’s on the chopping block, she plays an idol. She’s on the chopping block, she’s sent to Exile Beach, she comes back. She needs to go.’

Australian Survivor: All Stars continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel 10
