Dichen Lachman joins cast of sequel Jurassic World 3 starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard
Dichen Lachman has joined the cast of the highly anticipated sequel Jurassic World 3.
The 37-year-old Nepal-born actress will join franchise stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the sci-fi thriller directed by 43-year-old Colin Trevorrow, according to an article Tuesday by Deadline.
She has been portraying Frankie in the TNT drama Animal Kingdom since 2018 and also starred in the 2018 Netflix sci-fi series Altered Carbon as Reileen Kawahara.

Dichen previously portrayed Jiaying on the ABC series Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD for nine episodes during the 2014-2015 season.
She’s been married since 2015 to Austrian born Polish-American actor Maximilian Osinski.
Dichen and Maximilian have a four-year-old daughter Mathilda together.
Maximilian played Agent Davis on Agents Of SHIELD for 19 episodes from 2013 to 2019.

Dichen also played Anya in the post-apocalyptic sci-fi TV series The 100 in 2014.
She and series star Eliza Taylor, 30, won a Best Fight award in 2015 from the E! Online Best Ever TV Awards.
Dichen was a regular on the Australian soap opera Neighbours portraying Katya Kinski for 106 episodes from 2005 to 2007.

Jurassic World 3 also will feature Mamoudou Athie, and DeWanda Wise as well as original Jurassic Park trilogy stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum.
It is scheduled for release in theaters on June 11, 2021.
Jurassic World 3 will be the sixth installment in the franchise that started in 1993 with Jurassic Park directed by Steven Spielberg, 73.
The films center on the disastrous efforts to create cloned dinosaurs for entertainment.
