Ben Fordham says there’s ‘no chance in hell’ Kyle Sandilands is earning $50million at KIIS FM – after he renewed his radio contract last year

Radio presenter Kyle Sandilands renewed his contract with the Australian Radio Network (ARN) last year in a rumoured $50million deal.

But 2GB presenter Ben Fordham doesn’t believe Kyle is earning anything close to that figure to host KIIS FM’s Sydney breakfast show.

Ben told listeners that Kyle was most likely embellishing his salary.

Ben Fordham said there’s ‘no chance in hell’ Kyle Sandilands is earning ‘$50 million’ after the radio shock jock and co-host Jackie O renewed their contract with ARN last year on his 2GB drive time radio show on Thursday

‘I know Kyle and Jackie O love everyone thinking that they got a $50million deal, but if you believe that Kyle and Jackie O got $50 million in their last pay deal, you believe that there is true love on Married At First Sight!’ he said.

‘No chance in hell!’ he added. ‘I know they love when everyone keeps putting it in print but come on, dream on.’

In October, Kyle and his co-host, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, extended their contracts with ARN in what was described as the ‘biggest media deal in Australian history’.

Ben He told listeners on his drive program: 'I know Kyle and Jackie O love everyone thinking that  got a $50 million deal, but if you believe that Kyle and Jackie O got $50 million in their last pay deal, you believe that there is true love on Married At First Sight.'

Their new contracts guarantee that they will stay on the air until 2024, and will earn $7-8million each per year to broadcast their four-hour breakfast show.

Kyle could potentially pocket $50million from the new deal by the end of 2024.

Ben’s remarks come after he and Kyle had an on-air confrontation on The Kyle and Jackie O Show back in June.

Just ludicrous! Ben added, 'I know they love when everyone keeps putting it (the $50 million figure) in print but come on, dream on'

They traded barbs over the success of their respective TV shows, Australian Ninja Warrior and Trial By Kyle.

Ben drew attention to the fact Australian Ninja Warrior had outperformed Kyle’s ‘Judge Judy rip-off’ in the ratings last year.

A furious Kyle snapped back: ‘No one likes some sort of smart a** private school b**ch like you coming in here!’
