And on Sunday night, Cynthia Erivo was feted once again, this time at the American Black Film Festival Honors in Los Angeles.
The British actress, 33, showed up to collect the Rising Star Award in a stunning blue patterned cutout dress.

Erivo flashed a little cleavage in the sleeveless full-length dress which also showed off her legs thanks to the mesh pattern down the front.
The shoulder straps featured large silver clasps and she accessorized with several bracelets, rings and earrings.
Her eye shadow matched the color of her dress and she added rouge and glossy lip color to complete her look.

The 52-year-old was the recipient of the festival’s Excellence in the Arts Award, which is presented to an artist in recognition of a body of work that has received critical acclaim.
Foxx, who won an Academy Award for Ray in 2005, was suave in a classic black tuxedo for his night in the spotlight.
Veteran actor Louis Gossett Jr. was honored with the Hollywood Legacy Award.
Gosset, 83, is best known for winning an Oscar for his role as Gunnery Sergeant Emil Foley in the 1982 film An Officer And A Gentleman and his main role in the 1977 TV miniseries Roots.
