Love Is Blind streamed its dramatic final episode on Thursday as viewers across the world tuned in to see whether the contestants said ‘I do’.
The hit Netflix series has followed 30 men and women as they build connections in different pods without ever seeing each other, the contestants are allowed to propose to each other whenever they choose.
After getting engaged they’re allowed to meet for the first time, resulting in a romantic getaway to Mexico, moving into their own apartment together and meeting each other’s families ahead of their wedding taking place within days.

Out of the 30 contestants, viewers have watched engaged couples Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed, Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli, Kenny Barnes and Kelly Chase, Mark Cuevas and Jessica Batten, and Matt Barnett and Amber Pike.
And on Thursday’s most dramatic episode yet, viewers finally got to see whether love really is blind and if the couples went through with their marriage.
With three jilted contestants, a shock marriage and one very emotional wedding, fans watched the most dramatic episode yet unfold.

Damian and Giannina

First up were Damian, 27, and Giannina, 25, who have had a tumultuous romance on the show.
Despite having a promising start to their romance, in the days leading up to the wedding the couple had several explosive arguments with some even taking place in front of their fellow contestants.
During one row, Giannina brutally told Damian: ‘You know how you tell me this is the best sex of your life? Have you noticed that I don’t return the compliment? I don’t say it’s the best sex of my life, too?’
Uh-oh: First up were Damian, 27, and Giannina, 25, who have had a tumultuous romance on the show, after Giannina declared ‘I do’ and answered ‘yes’ to the question ‘is love blind?’, Damian left her jilted as he tearfully replied: ‘I do not.’
So it came as no surprise on Thursday’s episode that the couple’s wedding was the most dramatic one in the episode.

Barnett and Amber

Next up were Barnett and Amber, who have had a very intense and passionate romance during their time on the show.
Despite appearing enamoured with each other, the couple’s wedding got off to a rocky start after Amber admitted that Barnett was ‘freaking out’ and he text her saying he had ‘cold feet’. He then ignored all her phone calls.
And it looked as though Amber could be jilted after their guests were left waiting at the venue for 30 minutes.

The next couple to take to the altar were Kenny and Kelly who have had a very steady romance during the show.
Yet despite Kenny being fully committed to their relationship, Kelly started to have doubts in the lead up to their wedding after she didn’t want to have sex with him and admitted that she didn’t have a ‘crazy infatuation’ towards him like she did to her ex.
Contemplating whether to say ‘I do’ or ‘I don’t’, Kelly confessed to her sister that maybe her definition of ‘in love’ isn’t right, although her sibling encouraged her to go through with the wedding as he is one of ‘the best’ boyfriends she has ever had.

‘I can’t marry you, I hope that you can appreciate that and respect that decision of mine.’
Kelly’s family were left shocked at the revelation, with her mother looking over to Kenny’s parents while shaking her head.

Kelly’s mother, who had revealed earlier she had enjoyed a few glasses of Champagne, was left teary over the speech as she declared: ‘God, I love this guy.’

Yet on the day, it looked as though Lauren could have been having some doubts as she tearfully admitted to her mother: ‘I’m nervous, I don’t know, I never thought I would see this day so soon.
‘A lot of different emotions, happy, excited, still a part of me very terrified. A little bit of me that feels unsure.’
