Vogue Williams joins elegant Charlotte Hawkins for Ladies’ Day at Cheltenham Festival

She took part in the Magnolia Cup charity race in aid of Wellbeing of Women at The Qatar Goodwood Festival back in August.

And Vogue Williams continued to throw her support behind the horse racing sport as she attended Cheltenham Festival‘s Ladies Day alongside Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins on Wednesday morning.

The Irish DJ and reality star, 34, stood out from fellow guests as she wowed in bright red co-ords by Holland Cooper, while news presenter Charlotte, 44, stunned in velvet blue outerwear. 

Commanding attention, the media personality wowed in a longline double-breasted trench coat, teamed with matching straight-leg trousers.

The mother-of-one – who shares 18-month-old son Theodore with husband Spencer Matthews – kept warm in a cream cable-knit jumper, which coordinated with her heeled white boots.

Upping the style ante, Vogue styled her outfit with a pair of circular-framed shades, gold dangle earrings and a navy scrunchie.

Host Charlotte, who is presenting the event for ITV, turned heads in her stunning blue coat, complementing her statement fascinator.

Ladbrokes has announced new research which highlights attitudes towards inclusivity and diversity in horse racing and sport, as a new poll of 2,000 men and women revealed 30% of people feel there is an unfair representation of women in sport, claiming they’d like to see more female sport on their screens. 

On the results, Vogue – who attended the event with the betting and gambling company for a second year running – said: ‘It’s an honour to be back at Cheltenham with Ladbrokes to support women in racing. 

‘Having had the chance to train as a jockey last year thanks to Ladbrokes and experience the blood, sweat and tears that go into it.’ 

The festival, which kicked off in style on Tuesday, is still going ahead despite calls for it to be cancelled amid coronavirus concerns.

Racing chiefs say they have increased the numbers of wash basins and hand santiser stations, and told how they have been liaising closely with the government as it prepares to welcome more than 260,000 fans over the four days.

Big-race jockeys are said to have been briefed by staff at the course as to the importance of hygiene and also recognising any potential symptoms.

Yesterday some 60,664 spectators took in the action, down roughly 7,000, or 10 per cent, on for the same day last year. However organisers said they were pleased with the turnout given the circumstances.
