‘It’s hard to know what life will look like for you in a week/month/decade,’ she said.

Edwina described life right now for herself and husband Neil Varcoe with the infant as filled with mostly joy, as well as soiled nappies, baby dribble and dirty clothes.

‘You wake up bright as a button. So bright, in fact, it’s hard to get you back to sleep. Memo to Molly – it’s ok to take a nap. I would like one too.’

The Channel Seven reporter admitted she ‘only knows one line of every song, except the entire Spice Girls back catalogue’ and the nursery rhyme ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’.

Among some of Molly’s other highlights, Edwina included the bub recognising her father’s voice and discovering where her your hands and feet are.

She then addressed her followers reading the post saying she hopes it was a ‘great reminder that in super strange times life trickles on’.

Edwina went on to encourage her followers – particularly new mothers and pregnant women – to reach out to their family and friends on social media while isolating themselves amid the coronavirus outbreak.
