Laura Dern wears latex gloves to shop for flowers and goodies at farmers market amid the coronavirus

Amid the coronavirus outbreak, Laura Dern wore latex gloves to shop for quarantine essentials like fresh flowers and what appeared to be a jar of cornichons in Santa Monica on Wednesday.

The 53-year-old Oscar winner bundled up her statuesque 5ft10in figure in a long hooded black puffer, black skinny jeans, and matching sneakers for her outing to a local farmers market.

On Sunday, the Little Women actress shared a snap of herself and 18-year-old son – DNA Model Ellery Harper – ‘social distancing’ while ‘connecting in nature.’ 

Laura – who boasts 1.1M social media followers – has also been having ‘fun’ building elaborate structures with Legos.

Dern is also keeping a watchful eye on her 15-year-old daughter Jaya (with ex-husband Ben Harper) as well as her famous parents Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern, who are both over 80.

Effective Friday, Universal ‘indefinitely’ halted production on Jurassic World: Dominion, in which the longtime Lynch muse reprises her role as paleobotanist Ellie Sattler.  

‘It is unknown when the [100-day] shoot was going to end and if it will impact the June 2021 release date at this time,’ according to Variety.

Original Jurassic Park stars Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill are also supposed to return for Colin Trevorrow’s sixth installment, which also stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Trevorrow is clearly trying to recapture some of the magic from Jurassic Park, which amassed an eye-popping $5B (including video games, toys, novels, animated LEGO series and theme park attractions.)
