The Veronica’s Lisa Origliasso has praised her husband, actor Logan Huffman, for his ‘preparation measures’ during the coronavirus pandemic. 

The Australian singer-songwriter, 35, shared a photo of herself wearing a face mask applauding him in an Instagram story on Wednesday.

In the post, she revealed her partner had already been discussing the ‘serious nature’ of the virus two months ago and said it needed to be taken ‘very, very seriously’.

‘It was hard to believe back then that the cans of extra food and “preparation measures” for us, friends and family he was putting in place would be necessary,’ she wrote. 

‘He was on the phone every other night informing our friends to just be prepared and safe. It was easy to put down to his “kooky nature” that I love him for.’

‘I feel so thankful to be with a man who does care…’ she continued.

Lisa went on to reveal it was because of his proactive attitude that she and her twin sister Jessica were able to leave Los Angeles ‘safely with no risk’.

The Untouched hitmaker also noted that the easiest way people can protect themselves and their loved ones from the virus is by staying at home.  

On Sunday, Lisa and Jess revealed they were in ‘self quarantine’ over coronavirus fears. 

In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, Jessica explained: ‘We are practicing social distancing, and self quarantine to protect the most vulnerable people in our family and communities.’

She added that the sisters wanted to continue seeing their mother Colleen, 72, who is fighting Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a rare degenerative brain disorder.

‘In particular for the safety and health of our mummy, who we continue to see and care for daily,’ Jessica added. 

There are 556 confirmed coronavirus cases in Australia as of Wednesday evening. Six people have died so far, with five in the state of New South Wales.
