Emile Hirsch finds DEAD RAT in his STOVE after ‘taking house apart’ looking for source of horrible smell: ‘Oh my God!’
He famously starred in Sean Penn written and directed film Into The Wild where his character hitchhiked and lived in the Alaskan wilderness.
But Emile Hirsch happened to encounter something even more frightening than anything from the 2007 film in his own home.
The 35-year-old actor – who was shirtless wearing a medical mask – made a gruesome discovery as he found a dead rat under one of the burners in his stove.

The talented actor took to his Instagram on Sunday to share a video as he gave the background story on how he found the rodent.
He said: ‘So I’ve had a horrible, horrible smell that has just been driving me a little crazy in the house. I searched high and low everywhere, everywhere. Took the f**ing house apart!

He then opened the top of the range to reveal a lifeless rat and began screaming: ‘Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh! Do you realize, do you see that? Do you see that? In my stove. Under the f**ing burner!’
Emile began acting in 1996 and hit it big in 2004’s R-rated comedy The Girl Next Door which found portraying a teen who false in love with a porn star played by Elisha Cuthbert.
He moved on to star as Emory University graduate-turned-outdoorsman, Chris McCandless, in 2007’s Into The Wild.

The action flick is centered around two movie producers who owe money to the mob as they set up an aging movie star for an insurance scam to try to save themselves but end up in a much more complicated situation.
The film which is set for release sometime this year features an all-star cast including Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Tommy Lee ZOnes, Zach Braff, Eddie Griffin, Natalie Burn, and Nick Vallelonga.
