Nadia Bartel speaks candidly about parenting her sons Henley, one, and Aston, four

Nadia Bartel has spoken candidly about raising her sons Henley, one, and Aston, four, while working from home amid COVID-19.

Speaking on Jaggad’s Unstoppable Mums podcast alongside Rebecca Judd, Megan Gale and Michelle Greene, the fashion blogger, 34, admitted that ‘it’s so hard’ trying to balance parenting her children and running her business.

‘It’s been a massive struggle and more so with the boys. Aston has an at-home program which involves lots of face to face sessions with the teachers so I need to fit all of that in,’ she said.

‘But Henley is so active and at a totally different level to Aston. Then I’m trying to do work because it really hasn’t slowed down for us at Henne,’ she continued.

Nadia explained that she’s been ‘trying to form some sort of routine but it’s so hard because kids do what they want to do’.

The former WAG also revealed that when her two sons go to sleep, she completes an online Pilates class.

Nadia shares Henley and Aston with her estranged AFL star husband Jimmy Bartel, who she split with in August 2019, after months of speculation. 

Following the split, Nadia said her priority was to look after their two young sons.

She told The Herald Sun at the time: ‘It’s been a very difficult month for me and the boys. Although I’m heartbroken, I don’t want to comment specifically on what’s been reported about Jim’s trip to the UK as I don’t think that is in anyone’s interests. 

‘My single focus now is to continue to protect, care and provide for my two beautiful boys as this is a personal matter. I am so thankful for my very supportive family and friends.’

The retired footballer’s new romance with Lauren Mand was exposed just days after Nadia confirmed their separation on August 15.

At the time of their split, it was widely reported that Jimmy and Lauren were in a ‘long-term relationship’ that Nadia had discovered through ‘text messages’.
