Rudimental’s DJ Locksmith left viewers awestruck as he completed a gruelling hike despite suffering a severe knee injury on Monday night’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. 

The musician, real name Leon Rolle, had injured his knee in an earlier episode and was in visible pain and anguish while taking on the sailing course followed by a hike.

The 33-year-old was praised by viewers at home who were blown away with his determination and offered ‘massive respect.’

Hollyoaks star Nikki Sanderson said her heart was breaking for him after she teamed up with him for the challenge.

However, despite screaming with pain Locksmith made it through and completed the challenge.

Earlier in the show, the Rudimental star spoke candidly about growing up without a father.

He shared: ‘I was fortunate to have a mum who was stronger than any man, she was a single mum who brought up myself and my two sisters.’

DS Mark Billingham asked: ‘So you didn’t have a mum and dad?’  

To which he responded: ‘Dad was about for a bit but he left at a young age, that has always been a sore subject for me.’ 

Mark then asked: ‘Are you in connection with your father now?’  

Locksmith replied: ‘I try to, and I feel like he lets me down, and it’s a hard one because I want him to be a part of my child’s life.’
