Katie Price can barely contain her excitement as she’s gifted a huge pink cake on her 42nd birthday

Katie Price could barely contain her joy as she was gifted an enormous pink cake to celebrate her 42nd birthday on Friday.

The former glamour model put on a very colourful display as she rocked a tie-dye co-ord as she received the sweet treat while ensuring she adhered to social distancing measures.

The mum-of-five appeared delighted, flashing a broad smile as she picked up the bespoke cake from outside her home.

Ensuring she looked her best for her big day, Katie donned a baby pink and blue T-shirt with matching cycle shorts, while her raven tresses were swept into a high ponytail.

Upping the glam, she added a pair of hot pink fluffy slippers and shielded her eyes with trendy mirrored shades. 

The star was greeted at her garden gate by cake designer Becci, who looked glam in a leopard print dress as she hand-delivered the birthday treat. 

The ladies stopped to chat for a while as they made the most of the fabulous weather. 

Katie’s protection dog Blade even came at one point to see what all the fuss was about.

But Katie looked in no mood for sharing as she was later seen proudly carrying her huge cake back into her home. 

And the cake was certainly fitting for the TV personality as it was adorned with pink flowers, a bottle of bubbly and dazzling edible diamante crystals. 

The Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Win star’s birthday treat came after her son Junior Andre made light of her age as he wished her a happy 42nd birthday earlier in the day.

The 14-year-old, who’s father is Katie’s ex Peter Andre, took to Instagram where he shared a throwback snap of himself and his mum at Thorpe Park last year. 

And the cheeky youngster couldn’t help but make a joke as he quipped: ‘Ur getting old now’.

In the snap, the pair are looking off into the distance as they posed for the camera, with Katie looking her usual glam self in a baby pink ‘icon’ cap. 

Captioning the image, Junior wrote: ‘Happy birthday mum. love you lots. ❤️ have a gd day. (Even tho we’re quarantined) 

‘ur getting old now ❤️ @katieprice .

‘That was when I had hair. I’m not planning on growing my hair back anytime soon.’

Junior is currently isolating with dad Peter, 47 and sister Princess, 12, as well as Peter’s wife Emily and their children Amelia and Theo.

Katie’s youngest children Jett and Bunny are currently living with their dad Kieran Haylor.

While Katie is staying with oldest son Harvey, 17, and her Dreamboys pal Al Warrel.

On Thursday, Katie showed her appreciation for NHS frontline workers as she joined in the weekly Clap For Our Carers salute.

The former glamour model was joined by her son Harvey who performed a rendition of Queen’s We Are The Champions on a keyboard. 

Katie stood on her front doorstep and said: ‘What time is it? Clap for the carers. Everyone on the frontline still doing a good job. 

‘You’ve done a song for them haven’t you Harv? Do you want to play it?’

‘Yeah, are you ready?’ Harvey replied before he played We Are The Champions.

Katie began to dance and click her fingers beside him before mother and son gave one final clap for frontline workers.
