And Katy Perry admitted she has been ‘learning to be a mum fast’ while in quarantine with her beau and several children including his son Flynn, who he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Discussing her pregnancy in scenes set to air on Friday’s The Graham Norton Show, the singer, 35, explained how life in lockdown has helped prepare her as a mother: ‘I’m learning to be a mum fast.

‘Kids gravitate towards me through my music, so I am used to them, but I am not used to being woken up really early in the morning by them staring at me from the side of my bed!’
And when Graham asked her about announcing her pregnancy with her music video to Never Worn White, Katy revealed she felt it was only right as she said: ‘I thought, “What better way to reveal big news in my life to my fans who have grown up with me, than via music.”‘
Going on to talk about her new single Daisy, she said of the song’s meaning: ‘It is a simple message of staying true to your dreams no matter what anyone says. In the pandemic, it took on a whole new meaning for me.

‘I think I’ve taken some things for granted and when I get out of this hell, I am going to live my best life and do all those things I’ve perhaps put on the shelf because I thought they were accessible at any time.’
She released Daisies on earlier this month as the lead single for her forthcoming fifth studio album. She also dropped a coinciding music video.
In the music video, Katy donned a romantic linen dress before artistically stripping down completely giving her audience a clear view of her bare bump.

In April, she took to Instagram to announce that she would be welcoming her daughter sometime in the summer.
And, in the Daises video, Katy looked far along in her pregnancy and appeared to feel nothing but excitement for motherhood.
Orlando proposed to Katy on Valentine’s Day in 2019 following an American Idol taping held in Los Angeles.
