‘Won’t be f*****g doing that again. You know when you do the self scanner thing. It’s the first time I’ve used it in Tesco’s so it had to be checked.

‘All my stuff had to be double-checked which then completely defeats the object of scanning your own stuff.’

‘Halfway around I lost my shopping list and then when I was about to leave the alarm went off.’

Detailing her encounter she said: ‘So the security guard pulled me over and I said “the woman’s just been through all this”.

He responds: “Oh it’s not about checking it love, it’s about something else which has got a thing on it, so I was like “fine.”

The star then walked her fans through her interaction with the security guard, adding: [He said] ‘Got any alcohol? “No”. Got any make-up? “No”. Looked at me as if I possibly should have bought some make-up maybe.

‘Got any toiletries? “No”. I was like “I honestly don’t know what it is. Any meat? “I’ve got some steak”. Looked at it. No, it’s not that

‘I said “I dunno what it is then.”

[He responded] ‘Hmm very strange isn’t it? Like really accusingly!’

The star then said: ‘Like mate, you can check the whole trolley if you want! I don’t mind. I’d rather they just did that instead of standing there like you’re  a blooming criminal.

‘All minor things which probably wouldn’t have bothered me usually, you know when you want a row and think, ooh, it’s not worth it, I’ll probably get arrested or something.

‘I won’t be coming back, will probably stick with my usual Sainsbury’s.

The star added that the incident was ‘no-one’s fault’ saying: ‘Sometimes the computers make you check things and sometimes alarms go off and they’ve got to check it.

‘But today was not the day for those things to happen to me. Might just go eat some chocolate.’

MailOnline has contacted a Tesco’s spokesman for comment.

The star is in lockdown with husband Wayne Bridge and their sons Parker, six, and Carter, four.

Discussing lockdown recently, she said: ‘Yeah, it’s weird! At first I was like well this is nice, you know it’s a really horrible situation but I’m going to take the positives from it, it’s really nice to all be together all four of us at home and it was sunny so it was nice.

‘The kids were out in the garden and at first I was quite enjoying it, and I’ve kind of had my first wobble now where I’m like okay this is going to be quite a long time.

‘The boys are asking quite a lot of questions about can we go to certain places, can they see their friends and it’s just that realisation that this is kind of our new normal and we don’t know for how long really and I think that’s what’s making it harder.’
