Kate Hudson gets playful as she teases how she’s ‘shaking’ and ‘cooking something up’ in crop top

Kate Hudson has been known for inheriting her mother, Goldie Hawn’s — perky personality and infectious wide smile.

And on Tuesday both of those traits were on full display when the Academy Award nominated actress took to Instagram and shared a short but entertaining video of herself in an ab-revealing crop top.

The clip kicks-off with Hudson in her kitchen, staring into the camera with a jar of some sort of liquid in hand.

But then, without further ado, the show begins.

With a serious and focused look on her face, Hudson starts shaking the glass jar up and down and then proceeds to dance her way to her her right, out of view.

A few seconds later she comes sidestepping her way to the left, while still shaking the bottle, before she goes out of the screen again.

The Almost famous actress then dances her way back into view, with her toned tummy on full display, and slams down the jar on the kitchen table.

It’s at this point that she breaks her game face and flashes her big beaming smile into the camera.

‘Cooking something up. I guess shaking it up too,’ she wrote in the caption along with the hashtags: ‘#comingsoon #alwaysdoingsomething #consciousliving #mindfullyhealthy #mostlymindfullyhealthy #healthymindbodylovingliving #notdaydrinking’  

Of course her trademark smile and personality are reminiscent of her mother, who has won one Oscar from her two nominations over her more than six-decade career in Hollywood. 

Hudson received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Penny Lane in Almost Famous. 

She will reunite with her co-stars from the 2000 Cameron Crowe film for a five-part podcast for the 20th anniversary that will premiere July 8.

It will also feature Crowe, Frances McDormand, Billy Crudup, Zooey Deschanel, Jimmy Fallon, Patrick Fugit, Jason Lee, among others.
