MasterChef contestant SLAMS judge Andy Allen for his ‘nonsense’ feedback that he compares to a Donald Trump speech
The new MasterChef Australia judges have been receiving plenty of praise from fans.
But eliminated star Chris Badenoch isn’t so impressed by Andy Allen, who won the 2012 season of MasterChef.
Speaking to News.com.au, Chris slammed the judge and said his feedback ‘makes no sense’ – and even compared it to a speech by U.S. president Donald Trump.

‘It’s not feedback, it’s just a collection of words that make no sense,’ he said.
‘He’s commented on things that I’ve cooked and when he’s walked away it’s like, “I have no idea what he said or what he meant.” You almost need subtitles. I don’t get it!’
Chris, who was the seventh to be eliminated from this season, added that he didn’t have any issues with Melissa Leong or Jock Zonfrillo’s feedback but said Andy’s reminded him of Donald Trump.

‘It’s incredibly frustrating, Jock or Melissa will give you a good critique… [but Andy] it’s not constructive,’ he said.
‘It’s like a Trump speech; a whole lot of words that don’t match.’
Chris revealed that his jibes shouldn’t be taken too seriously, however, adding: ‘It’s a reality TV show for Christ’s sake, have some fun!’

Chris isn’t the only one who has commented on Andy’s food critiques, as a number of viewers have shared similar thoughts on Twitter.
‘Mel and Jock are so articulate that it’s jarring when Andy speaks,’ one fan tweeted recently.
Another wrote: ‘MELISSA: This dish is evocative. With just a single bite, it transports me to a place and time, to experience it’s scent and taste anew. You astound me. You impress me. What is your critique, Andy? ANDY: Bloody hell! Big tick.’

Despite of these criticisms, Andy and his fellow judges have been a hit with viewers.
One fan wrote on Facebook that the show was ‘much better to watch’ without the original judges, Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris.
‘No, don’t miss them at all. I love the new judges, the show is so far much better to watch,’ they wrote.
Another said the new hosts were ‘the freshness the show needed’.
