The problem American viewers have with Married At First Sight Australia

American viewers reveal the ONE big problem with Married At First Sight Australia as the reality show continues to air in the U.S.

The Australian version of Married At First Sight has been airing in the U.S. since May.

And while MAFS fans seem to be enjoying the outrageous drama and plastic fantastic participants, there’s one thing that’s ruining the season for viewers.

Many have pointed out on social media how there’s too many spoilers online about the series, due to the fact that it already aired in Australia earlier this year.

‘I already read online all of the couples divorce,’ one fan commented on the official Instagram page for the U.S. network Lifetime, which is airing the show.

‘I know when I saw that I was like wtf why did they even show this season?’ responded another fan.

Another viewer complained that there were too many couples on the series, which makes it hard to follow storylines.

‘There’s so many couples on the show that we only get to see 5 seconds of them. I feel like I’m not really getting to know them or see them grow,’ they said.

The Australian version of MAFS received mixed reviews when it premiered on Lifetime back in late May.

But as the season progresses, outrage has turned into applause as many American viewers have been expressing how much they actually love the controversial social experiment.

Last week, Lifetime promoted an upcoming episode by uploading several wedding photos from the show, alongside the caption: ‘The drama continues… trust me, you don’t want to miss it.’

American fans immediately flooded the post with messages of praise, with one even begging for Netflix to release every single season.

‘Best show EVER!!!!! I found it online and am on episode 20 right now. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next,’ one fan enthused.

‘Can you drop the other Australian seasons on Netflix too?! This version is 10x better that MAFS USA!’ another agreed.

However, the show has also received its fair share of criticism, with many Americans calling it too dramatic and overly produced compared to the more organic U.S. version.
