Meet Brooklyn Beckham’s new in-laws including a billionaire dad and ice hockey player brother

David and Victoria Beckham‘s son Brooklyn’s new in-laws have been revealed after he announced his engagement to fiancée Nicola Peltz over the weekend.

Despite being the eldest child of one of showbiz’s most-recognised couples, the celebrity offspring, 21, is set to marry into quite the all-star family, as model Nicola, 25, is the daughter of billionaire investor Nelson Peltz, 77, and his wife, former model Claudia Heffner, 65.

The Transformers: Age of Extinction actress is the youngest daughter of her businessman’s 10 children, with many of them following in his footsteps with successful careers in sports, fashion designing and investment management. 

So who are they?

Nelson and Claudia Heffner 

The Trian Fund Management founder, who is worth an estimated $1.6 billion (£1.3 billion) has been married to his third wife for 35 years and the couple share eight kids together, while he has two other children with his first spouse Cynthia Abrams.

Nelson and Claudia reside in a 27 bedroom mansion in Bedford, New York which is a favourite among celebrities such as Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Bruce Willis.   

The New Yorker is a self-made man with a fearsome reputation as a tough-minded corporate raider, and boasts two jets.

He dropped out of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in 1962 and instead built his family’s tiny frozen-food business in Brooklyn into the largest frozen food distributor in the north east.

From there, he assembled the biggest packaging company in the world, Triangle Industries, which was sold in 1989 netting him around $840 million (£667 million).

The tycoon is a long-term supporter of Donald Trump — they have been neighbours for decades in Florida and he even held a $590,000 (£470,000)-per-couple fundraiser for the US President. 

Blonde beauty Claudia Peltz was previously a model and is known for her diamonds and philanthropy, with the power couple creating their independent company Nelson and Claudia Peltz Family Foundation in 2011.

Matthew Peltz 

Matthew, 36, is arguably the most business savvy sibling out of the Peltz clan as he’s served as a partner and senior analyst at his father’s investment management firm.

He’s been a director at Wendy’s Co. since 2015 and is also a board member for New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). 

The Yale University graduate, who is said to be worth $884 million (£703 million), recently splurged out by purchasing a waterfront mansion in Palm Beach County for $10.5million (£8.3 million), complete with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a massage room and a swimming pool.

Will Peltz 

Nicola also has famous siblings in the form of brother Will, 34, who played hockey in his youth before becoming an actor.

The screen star moved from the Big Apple to Los Angeles in 2009 and bagged his first minor roles in a series of film productions.

In 2015, he portrayed the role of Adam Sewell in horror film Unfriended, and played Brandon Lender in comedy-drama Men, Women & Children a year earlier, which starred the likes of Jennifer Garner, Adam Sandler and Ansel Elgort. 

Brad Peltz 

Former professional ice hockey star Brad, 30, played for Ottawa Senators between August 2012 and April 2013 after being drafted by the team in 2009.

The sportsman, who often shares snaps of himself rubbing shoulders with celebs such as Elon Musk and Cindy Crawford, studied Political Science from 2011 until 2015 at Yale University.

Brad went on to become the founder of Mymo, an automated scheduling system for medical appointments which ‘enhances the experience between the patient and physician allowing for a better continuity of care.’

Brittany Peltz 

Nicola’s only sister, 30, grew up as a competitive figure skater and studied film at NYU’s Tisch School after retiring from the sport.

The fashion designer later founded childrenswear company, Leah + Rae, in February 2018, which sources its products from across the globe and is made in a female-run factory in Manhattan.

Aside from her work, the brunette is married to Managing Director at Rhône Group Franz and the couple share two daughters, Eva & Lila Rae, as well as a 10-month-old son Phoenix Blu. 

Diesel Peltz

At 27, Diesel, who did not finish his degree at NYU, has featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for Consumer Technology this year. 

He is the CEO of social networking company Twenty, which is an app that helps ‘friends meet up in real life by planning future hangouts’.

According to Forbes, the company recently joined forced with location-based network Mappen, has two million users and has raised more than $40 million in funding.

Zachary and Gregory Peltz

Nicola’s twin brothers, Zachary and Gregory, 17, hit headlines in May 2016 when Nelson spent a reported $2million (£1.6million) on their bar mitzvah. 

The lavish event was attended by hundreds of guests — including Madison Square Garden executive chairman James Dolan — and saw stilt-walkers, two bands, five singers, a hockey rink, a basketball hoop and video games provide entertainment.  

According to their respective Instagram accounts, the teens shared the same love of ice hockey with their older siblings.
