Jason Momoa just surprised wife Lisa Bonet a truly unforgettable gift.
The See actor demonstrated his devotion by restoring Lisa’s very first car, a 1965 Ford Mustang.
Jason, 41, went to great lengths to refurbish the ride, calling the gift ’14 years in the making’ while documenting his journey in a YouTube film.

‘Aloha everyone, this is 14 years in the making,’ he shared in a Instagram teaser.
‘I wanted to surprise my wife with her first car she ever bought and bring it back to life and into our family,’ Jason went on before giving a shout out to Divine 1 Customs auto in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The artsy video, which was a produced by Momoa’s company On The Roam, followed the car’s makeover from start to finish.
Though some paint was cracking and the inside was more dusty than desired, Jason and team were ready to transform the very special vehicle, which according to Momoa was just one of three made.

Because of that, the pros at Divine 1 Custom had to hunt down some long-discontinued, custom parts.
But that didn’t stop the team, whose mastery was captured in detailed video of the restoration.
There was plenty to do, seeing a the car was over half-a-century old. The entire interior was gutted and the worn-out old engine was plucked from under the hood.
Then, the body was taken apart piece-by-piece to get painted shiny and black. All the while, another team outfitted the car with fresh leather seats and polished-up hardware.

Lisa, 52, was beside herself during the reveal, at first only able to muster a ‘Holy cow.’
After checking out under the hood and trying out the driver’s seat, she and Jason shared a kiss.
‘To be in this passenger seat, with my wife here and surprise her and our babies in the back… Riding in her first car when she was 17… I’m excited to see her face,’ the emotional star admitted. ‘It’s come a long way.’

Jason and Lisa began dating in 2005. They married in 2007 but weren’t legally wed until 2017.
Bonet is also mom to 31-year-old talent Zoe Kravitz, who she shared with rocker ex Lenny Kravitz.
