Grant Denyer’s wife Chezzi pens a touching tribute to her obstetrician

Chezzi Denyer has been documenting the ups and downs of her pregnancy journey.

And the 41-year-old penned a special tribute to her obstetrician on Tuesday, as she prepares to welcomed her third child.

The former TV producer shared a photo to Instagram alongside Dr Katrina Green, who was wearing a face mask.

‘She’s been my guiding light this pregnancy. From multiple miscarriages, to severe hyperemesis, she has been there very step of the way with me,’ Chezzi wrote.

The wife of Family Feud host Grant Denyer recalled how Dr Green ‘helped’ and ‘nurtured’ her throughout her pregnancy with her second daughter, Scout, five.

‘She knew my fear and reservations, and she made the whole experience very special,’ she said.

‘Fast forward five years and she is in hot demand. Of course she is. She’s amazing.’

Chezzi listed Dr Green’s qualities, calling her ‘thorough, on the ball, caring and nurturing’, before adding: ‘I just adore her.’

The expectant mother concluded: ‘I’m so thankful she’s overseeing this pregnancy. And I just wanted to post this to let you know how wonderful she is.’ 

Her tribute comes after she revealed the unusual baby name ideas she has been brainstorming.

According to New Idea earlier this week, she shared a list of unusual names on Instagram taken from Tanya Hennessy’s new book, and highlighted the names ‘Cricket’ and ‘Story’ as two she liked.

With the pair opting for ‘S’ monikers for their other two daughters – Sailor, nine, and Scout, five – it appears Story could be a front-runner for the Denyers’ new arrival.
