Matt Damon and Chris Hemsworth flew from Byron Bay to Sydney on Sunday night.
The Hollywood actors shared a private jet as they travelled to the New South Wales‘ capital for a week of filming upcoming Marvel blockbuster Thor: Love and Thunder.
The Damon family only recently completed their private quarantine in a $7,000-a-night mansion near the trendy coastal town.

Production on Thor: Love and Thunder began on January 26 at Sydney’s Fox Studios, but this appears to be the first time Damon has flown to Sydney to shoot scenes.
Damon, 50, and his wife, Luciana Barossa, 45, were the first A-list guests to disembark the private plane.

The couple, who wed in 2005, appeared to leave their children, Isabella, 14, Gia, 12, and Stella, 10, behind in Byron Bay for the short work trip.
The Damons had arrived in Australia in January and immediately moved into an Airbnb mansion, where they served out their 14 days of mandatory quarantine.
The family paid for their own private security, police monitoring, hospital-grade cleaning, staff, meals and regular medical checks.

With the price set at $7,000 per night for the modern-day cheateu property, it’s likely the star spent upward of $90,000 on the accommodation alone during his mandatory 14-day quarantine period.
While many visiting stars have kept quiet about the quarantine process, Matt’s immigration lawyer explained every detail of the Damon’s move Down Under.

The Australian production of the fourth installment in the Thor franchise was made possible by a AUD$24.1 million location incentive by the NSW and Australian Governments.
Other stars known to be joining the fourth Thor film are Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster), Chris Pratt (Peter Quill or Star-Lord), and Christian Bale (villain Gorr the God Butcher).
