Kat Dennings and rocker fiance Andrew WK stop to buy plants and pay a visit to her mother in LA

Five days after sharing the news of her engagement to rocker Andrew WK on social media, Kat Dennings stepped out for some quality time with her husband-to-be.

The couple were spotted out shopping for some new plants at a store in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles on Tuesday. 

Their quiet day together also included a stop to she Dennings’ mother, Ellen Litwack. 

The 2 Broke Girls actress, 34, kept it casually comfortable in the fashion department in black leggings and a black t-shirt.

She also wore a pair of blue sneakers and had a plaid button-down shirt tied around her waist.  

With COVID-19 still a serious health concern, the Pennsylvania native and her hubby both donned black protective masks over their mouths and noses while out in the public.   

The Party Hard singer (born Andrew Fetterly Wilkes-Krier), 42, opted for casual-cool in black jeans with a black jacket over a matching t-shirt.

He also donned white sneakers and a black baseball cap over his long brown hair that falls past the middle of his back. 

After loading up the plants into their vehicle, they then stopped to pick up some medicinal substance before heading back home.

The day also included their visit visit to see her mom, who greeted her famous daughter with a long hug. 

After spending time inside Litwack’s home, the couple emerged with her mother for their walk back to their vehicle.         

In the early afternoon, the actress took to Instagram and shared a selfie photo of the pair snuggling up together.

Later on Tuesday, she posted photos and video showing her cooking and baking up what appeared to be soup and a sweet treat. 

The couple announced their engagement May 13, simultaneously by posting photos of Dennings’ emerald cut diamond engagement ring, which is set with two smaller diamonds flanking the center stone. 

‘Don’t mind if I do,’ the WandaVision star wrote in the caption, cheekily nodding to her future ‘I dos’. 

There were also two other photos that captured the milestone moment: one of the couple sharing a passionate kiss and another of Dennings showing off her ring.
