The Bachelor: Jimmy Nicholson’s father welcomes Holly Kingston into the family 

They have spent the past few weeks settling into their new home in Bondi.

And Bachelor couple Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston reached another milestone on Tuesday.

Jimmy’s father, Noel, formally welcomed Holly into the family by sharing a sweet tribute to the 27-year-old marketing manager on Instagram. 

‘Our new family member and most welcome to our tight clan,’ Noel captioned a photo of Jimmy and Holly. 

‘Lucky lucky to have such an amazing girl join us.’

It comes after Jimmy shared a screenshot to Instagram of himself and Holly speaking to his parents via Facetime earlier this month.

The pilot joked in the caption: ‘Mum and dad still learning their best angles for FaceTime… this is dad mid-rant about why he’s not team Holly… #jks.’

When Jimmy was deciding between Holly and runner-up Brooke Cleal on The Bachelor, Noel was hesitant to back Holly because he thought she was too similar to his son’s ex-girlfriends.

‘My feeling is that she’s a really really lovely girl. I don’t think she’s the right girl for Jimmy,’ he said at the time.

But that’s all water under the bridge as Holly recently said she’d won over Noel.

‘We had quite a few chats with his family. I’ve been Facetiming with them a lot and I was prepared that Noel was Team Brooke [laughs],’ she told Who earlier this month.

‘He’s been grovelling a little bit since!’ Holly added.

It comes after the newly minted Bachelor couple announced they’d just settled into their new apartment in North Bondi. 

Details about the sale have since been revealed, with realestate.com.au reporting Jimmy paid $1.42million for the two-bedroom, one-bathroom flat.

However, the website claims Holly ‘is not in on the deal’, which suggests the pilot bought the home himself and she is simply living with him.

The couple documented moving in together earlier this month, with Jimmy sharing a photo of the pair outside the flat as he held a bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne.
