Tash Herz has split from girlfriend Madison Hewitt after several months together.

The Married At First Sight bride, 31, announced their break-up via Instagram on Sunday night in a lengthy statement, saying it was a mutual decision.

Tash continued: ‘I understand it was in the public eye and a lot of you are curious and concerned and I really want to thank you for your support.

‘Even though I share a lot of myself on here, break-ups are quite personal and not something I will be publicly discussing in any more detail than this.’

The reality star went on to explain that the pair still have ‘infinite love’ for each other.

Tash added: ‘We still have infinite love, respect and kindness towards each other as people. It would mean so much to both of us if you would respect our healing and grieving process by not asking probing questions, as they will not be answered nor given any attention regardless.

‘Please remember we are just normal humans like you guys and move through the pain of break-ups exactly the same way, so understanding our desire for privacy on this subject would mean everything.’

The couple went public with their romance in February, days after Tash’s ‘wedding’ to Amanda Micallef – which was filmed in September – aired on Married At First Sight.
