They have only been dating for five months, but things appear to be very serious between Love Island Australia star Cartier Surjan and her NRL star boyfriend, Jake Simpkin.
The reality star beauty, 20, called the footy player, 19, ‘her forever man’ during a candid Instagram Q&A on Monday evening.
Cartier admitted that she had finally found love with the West Tigers player and that the relationship was very different to the ones she has had in the past, as she has never had to question herself.

While the couple are smitten with each other now, Cartier insists that it wasn’t love at first sight.
She recalled how she almost bailed on her first date with Jake, but when the pair did catch up they didn’t want to leave each other’s side.
‘So funny… we both told our roomies we’d be back in 2 hours max… nek mini 6 hours later, both our roomies were texting us seeing if we were okay,’ she explained.

And on Monday, Cartier revealed to Daily Mail Australia how she met the sportsman, as they celebrate five months as a couple.
Cartier said: ‘We first met at [Sydney’s] Clovelly Beach. I wasn’t meant to be at that beach that day, but it ended up being the easiest to get to as the traffic was awful.’
She added: ‘I spotted Jake nearby in a blue hat, and we got talking – the rest is history. We have been together for five months now.’
Indeed, Cartier – who was billed as a ‘born-again Christian’ on Nine’s match-making show – has been proudly flaunting the pair’s romance on social media.
She recently shared a picture of herself cuddling up to her beau at the beach, which she captioned: ‘I’ll pick days with you over anything.’
She also shared a picture of the lovebirds canoodling a few weeks ago, and wrote alongside it: ‘Happy and in love’.

Cartier was coupled up on Love Island with Adam Farrugia, whom she dated for four weeks. In that time, the two developed a strong connection.
The romance ran its course, however, and the two decided to be just friends. Cartier then moved on with co-star Matthew Zukowski.
But Cartier and Matthew called it quits just two weeks after the finale episode.
